Martial Arts Classes in Saint Paul

Class Schedule

Find the Class for You

Each class is beginner friendly and open to all levels. You’ll get a fun workout, with a deeper dive into mixed martial arts driven by Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do training concepts. No experience necessary. Non-aggressive atmosphere. Come alone, or bring a friend.

  • Indoor classes take place at Timberwolf Crossfit in Saint Paul. Get directions >

  • Outdoor classes (weather permitting) take place at Linwood Recreation Center in Saint Paul. Get directions >

+ Jun Fan (Outdoor) | Tues 6-7pm

Train the curriculum Bruce Lee used to demonstrate his mixed martial art style of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). In this class, you'll practice footwork, evasions, basic striking and trapping concepts that bridge the gap between long- and close-range striking. JKD is not a sport art, so you'll learn fun techniques that don't apply directly to rule-based fighting styles.

This class will take place outdoors, weather permitting, through the summer at Linwood Rec Center.

Masks not required, but encouraged.

+ Filipino Arts (Outdoor) | Wed 6-7pm

Get a taste of weaponry and more combative Filipino boxing techniques. The Filipino martial arts offer interesting strategies and techniques for body manipulation like wrenches, sweeps, and more. In this class, you'll work coordination drills and striking in a safe format that will workout your mind and your body.

This class will take place outdoors, weather permitting, through the summer at Linwood Rec Center.

Recommended equipment (not required):

  • Rattan sticks

+ Muay Thai (Indoor) | Thurs 6-7pm

Muay Thai is a combat sport originating in Thailand. In this class, you'll practice the structure and form to develop this style's particularly heavy blows (kicks and punches), as well as the ability to strike with knees and elbows. Classes also emphasize educated reactions to these strikes through safe glove drills that help you develop your visual acuity and form to pick up lines of attack and defend with success.

Masks not required, but encouraged.

Recommended equipment (not required):

  • Boxing gloves
  • Shin guards
